Creative Careers

What is this project about?

Our Creative Careers programme is dedicated to spotlighting, advocating, and establishing the creative sector as a viable career pathway for young people. We aim to offer meaningful experiences that nurture the potential of young individuals through active and engaging encounters. By fostering strong partnerships between educational institutions and leading cultural organisations, in alignment with the eight Gatsby Benchmarks of Good Career Guidance, we seek to open doors for young people and empower them to make informed decisions about their future. Through an exciting and collaborative programme, we utilise the peer support network of young people to build their confidence in exploring various career options together.

What difference does the project make?

Our Creative Careers programme advocates for the creative sector as a legitimate and promising career pathway for young people. By establishing partnerships between educational institutions and cultural organisations, we facilitate work experience placements that provide valuable insights and opportunities for young individuals. These experiences not only open doors but also empower young people to take ownership of their future decision-making process, equipping them with the confidence and autonomy to pursue their aspirations.
