Magic Story Box

Using process drama and storytelling, we are working with teachers and their learners to create and explore imagined contexts in which real learning takes place as they face challenges, solve problems and develop life skills. Using the ‘Immersive Narrative’ techniques, teachers will be given tools to be ambitious for their learners who, in turn, will become more articulate, collaborative and emotionally intelligent members of their community. The project is led by drama practitioner Rebecca Bell

The work will focus on the English curriculum and Oracy, with application across the curriculum and wider impact on both the professional development of participating educators and the personal development of the learners.

Magic Story Box is a two year project as part of the Teacher Development Fund,
funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
