The school are keen to boost the children’s resilience and adaptability to change and embracing mistakes. The school would love for the children to work collaboratively in pairs or small groups to encourage them to communicate with one another.

They are rolling out the use of personal iPads out across the school, and using this resource, would like to be able to demonstrate to the children, who have been bought up around technology, constantly recording their day-to-day through the use of shorts, selfies and videos, that they can use it in alternative ways, that would support their creativity. The school want to empower the young people to turn the lens to the wider world and explore the bigger picture – that there is more to their technology than influencers and superficial photos that limit their view on the world.

We are looking for someone with a track record of delivering high quality art experiences and working with children and teachers that is supportive, inclusive and collaborative (and above all fun!). You will be working with their Year 5 children.

You will also need a track record of planning, creating risk assessments and supporting the collection of monitoring data, evaluation and reflection with the school and young people.

5 days prep/planning time to include:
Induction session (date TBC)
Attendance at 2 x Peer to Peer sharing forums
Support the planning and delivery of a sharing event in Summer Term

Fee: £4000 inclusive of all expenses including VAT.

There is a separate materials budget to support this project.

All applicants must have an enhanced DBS check, or be willing to undergo a check, and £5 million Public Liability Insurance cover.
