PICL

The Project Group (Oswestry) Community Interest Company (CIC) is an arts based community business (not for profit) working largely on art commissions for the public and private sectors. The group’s activities include community and public workshops and a retail range. Our workshops range from teaching corporate staff to regular craft workshops for the Pupil Referral Unit (i.e. young people who had difficulties within main stream schooling), school groups and other community and statutory groups of all ages.

We provide a creative environment for individuals who have been involved with mental health services, to achieve at their own pace. The emphasis within our group is upon learning new skills, be they artistic, craft-based, or commercial, so that people can develop a sense of recovery and pass these skills on to others.

Innovation, quality and the therapeutic effect of creativity in a supportive environment are at the heart of our success. We work with professional artists, at all times, within a professional studio environment.
